Diamond Color Guide: The Four C's of Diamonds Lauren B IGTV
Click to Watch
One of the Four C's of diamond grading is color. This relates to the presence of yellow or brown tint in a diamond; the scale goes from 'D' to 'Z' with 'D' being the most colorless. Diamond color can effect diamond pricing. For our diamond engagement rings we usually recommend GIA certified color grades of 'D' to 'J' however that can vary based on the cut of the center-stone. Each diamond is unique and can exhibit color in different ways.
For most diamond shapes we usually say that near colorless in the G-H color range is a safe place to be. Watch this video here of 'H' color diamonds in various shapes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_co...
